camfer is currently **only available on Windows** to use with SolidWorks.

To download camfer, please fill out the form. If you're on Windows, we'll auto-start the download otherwise we'll send you an email with a download link to use on your Windows machine.

Camfer now can change materials. In ideation talk to models like GPT about what the best material for a part should be. Once you’ve decided just ask and we’ll take care of it. No need to fiddle and search through the Solidworks material selection.

Simple quality of life improvement. Before images could only be passed in by clicking the icon and using file explorer. Now you can copy-paste, drag-and-drop, or use file explorer to pass in images.

#### lazy parsing

We made it so camfer only parses your current environment when a change it hasn’t seen has occurred. This makes using ideation+execute mode with large parts much faster and more enjoyable.

## camfy model 2.0

Our harness now supports camfy 2.0 our newest text-to-cad model. Our new model is up to 6x faster than camfy 1.0. We’ve also trained it to take chat history into account so rephrases are no longer needed. The new camfer model coupled with lazy parsing is a huge speed improvement.

## image support

You can now use images in parallel with text in ideate mode. Being able to take advantage of the rich detail in images in addition to text prompts really increases the usability of camfer.
